Student Life at RBC

Reformation Bible College is more than a campus. It is a community. Student life at RBC offers the opportunity to enjoy rich experiences that create lasting memories and lifelong friendships.

At the heart of student life is the weekly chapel service. This is a time for the entire college family to come all together for a time of worship and hear preaching from professors, Ligonier staff, local pastors, and leaders in the Reformed community. Chapel messages encourage students to live out authentic discipleship.

Student life provides many opportunities for students to grow in the knowledge of and love for God. RBC students get to attend the Ligonier National Conference and RBC’s Winter Conference free of charge. In addition, they are invited to join the live audience whenever one of the Ligonier Teaching Fellows is recording a new teaching series. Students lead a Bible study on campus called Abide featuring worship, a message from a local pastor or Christian leader, and a season of prayer.

It is not unusual to walk across campus and see students sharing, praying, or getting wise counsel from one of our campus pastors or student care advisors. Professors often meet students at the café to discuss life and theology over a crafted latté.

Reformation Chorale allows students to perform sacred music in chapel services and at other events. Serving as a Care Group Leader or on the Student Activities Committee develops leadership and ministry skills for students. Employment opportunities at RBC and with Ligonier help students engage in ministry while earning an income to help with expenses.

Throughout each semester, students enjoy fun events that are a vital part of the campus experience. Whether it is Spirit Week, Reformation Weekend, RBC’s Got Talent, or the all-college Chapel Lunch, RBC students love being together. You will find students attending an afternoon Coffee Talk at the RBC café, a movie on the quad, or our annual Milkshake Day in memory of Dr. R.C. Sproul’s birthday. There’s always something happening on campus.

All of this takes place on our beautiful 29-acre campus in scenic Central Florida where there are nearby parks that provide opportunities for hiking, kayaking, tubing, sports, and more. The campus is located less than an hour from sunny beaches. Of course, Central Florida is also home to professional sports teams and world-class theme parks.

As our graduates reflect on their time at RBC each year, one common theme that is always mentioned is how much the sense of community at the college meant to them. There is much fun to be had and friendships to be formed by students while they acquire a rich theological education at RBC.
