Why I Chose RBC: The Eddings Brothers
Posted On February 12, 2025
Bryce and Grayson Eddings first learned about Reformation Bible College after being introduced to Ligonier Ministries’ resources by their dad, who pastors a Reformed congregation in South Texas. Because they were edified by sermons and teaching series messages from Dr. R.C. Sproul, the brothers decided to continue their education at the college Dr. Sproul founded.
“I applied to RBC because I know my calling is to serve in ministry,” Bryce said. “I chose RBC because I believed I would learn sound Reformed theology and grow as a Christian.”
Like his older brother, Grayson recognized that RBC could prepare him to pursue a career in ministry and help him grow in his faith and walk with the Lord.
“Bryce and I have been through all stages of life together, and now we have the opportunity to grow in our education and love for the Lord side by side,” Grayson shared. “Moving from Texas to Florida was a big change, but having family here with me makes it all the more comforting.”
“It is truly a blessing to be able to attend RBC with my brother,” Bryce added. “Gray and I have spent many years together in ministry serving alongside our family, so it is nice to come together at a place that will help grow and prepare us for lives in ministry.”
This year, the brothers serve together as president and vice president of Spurgeon House. They are eager to work together to plan events, service projects, and fellowship opportunities for the members of their house.
“I am filled with excitement as I anticipate guiding and supporting my fellow housemates toward success, while also experiencing personal growth alongside them,” said Grayson. “I eagerly await building stronger connections with each member of Spurgeon House.”
When asked what he’s most looking forward to in this academic year, Bryce shared that though he is hopeful that Spurgeon House emerges victorious as this year’s house champion, “most importantly, I look forward to being able to build new relationships with new incoming students. . . . I have been tremendously blessed by God to be here attending RBC. I look forward to serving Him through this role at RBC.”
Grayson echoed his brother’s sentiments, sharing that “The greatest gift of attending RBC for me has been deepening my love and faith in the Lord. While I have plans for the future with this education, the most important result for me is my spiritual growth.”
