Why I Chose RBC: My People Are Here

Posted On January 21, 2026

Eden Allison is Biblical Studies major pursuing her B.A. in Theology at RBC. We recently asked her about her experience at Reformation Bible College.

When Eden Allison considered her college options, she was determined not to compromise on two essential criteria. She wanted her chosen school to be Reformed and deeply anchored in Scripture, reflecting her commitment to faith-driven education.

“I was seeking a Reformed college which had a clear statement of faith, grounded on the Word of God, and clearly followed in word and deed. And I found that at RBC!”

Eden was not simply interested in receiving a degree; she understood the importance of pursuing an education with eternal value and being around others who shared the same conviction.

“RBC’s academics are based not on worldly values, but on what the kingdom of God values, which makes a huge difference on how they teach and how you learn.”

She recognized how transformative it is to have a theological foundation, anchoring every pursuit in Christ and impacting her life far beyond the classroom.

“The things I learn at RBC are things I will use for the glory of God throughout my whole life. . . . [The teachers] are not just there to teach you, they are there to continually direct you in all things to Christ.”

Upon arrival at RBC, Eden immediately felt the warmth of a community committed to Christ in her interactions with staff and fellow students. She shared that “you are not treated just as a student, but as a part of the family.”

Throughout her time at RBC, Eden hopes to cultivate a deeper love and understanding of God’s Word, a renewed zeal for His kingdom, and a greater ability to humbly serve those around her.

She is eager to grow in her ability to serve God’s people well and bear witness to the gospel faithfully, and she believes her RBC education will equip her for that calling.

“I am most excited to learn more about God and His kingdom. I’m looking forward to learning how better to serve His people and proclaim His truth to the world!”
