Student Housing Update

More than seventy years ago, Dietrich Bonhoeffer wrote in his book Life Together, “it is not simply to be taken for granted that the Christian has the privilege of living among other Christians.” As we plan to open on-campus student housing at Reformation Bible College in August 2022, we recognize the privilege and blessing that resident students will have to live in Christian community with their peers.

The student housing building is located on our beautiful Central Florida campus in between Founders Hall and the Administration building. Each four-bedroom suite includes a shared living room, kitchen, and laundry room. Every residential student will have his or her own private bedroom and bathroom. You can view a floor plan here.

Incoming and international students who are single and between the ages of 18 and 24 will be required to live in our on-campus student housing during their first year, as long as space is available.

Students will move into these suites at the beginning of Welcome Week in the second week of August. Each floor will be staffed with a full-time resident director and three upperclassmen students serving as resident assistants on both the women’s floor and the men’s floor. Bill Heyne is our assistant director of student life and will oversee on-campus resident life.

We are grateful to the many friends of the college who have given generously through the Every Generation Capital Campaign to see this dream of resident life become a reality. We hope that the friendships that will form and the discipleship that will occur in this building will help our students grow in Christ as they live together in community. If you’re interested in how you can support the next generation of Christian leaders, you can learn more on our website.

Please keep the RBC community in prayer as we prepare for this new season. For more updates on student housing, make sure you like our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter and Instagram. Why not book a tour and see the campus for yourself? It would be our pleasure to host you for a visit. And as always, please feel free to contact our Admissions team with any questions you may have about RBC. We’re here to help.
