Watch Tomorrow: Archeology & the Old Testament

Posted On July 18, 2023

The Bible is not a fairytale about mythical lands and fictional characters. God’s Word contains the true accounts of real people, who walked the streets of real cities, and who left a real mark on the world. Archeologists play a key role in helping to unearth artifacts that give us insight into these historical and cultural frameworks of the biblical text.

Join us tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. for Archeology & the Old Testament, the latest message in our Rare Book Room Series from Dr. John Currid, professor of Old Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary in Dallas. As he presents archeological findings from his own work and other noteworthy excavations, Dr. Currid will demonstrate how ancient artifacts can help us gain a deeper understanding of the people and places described in God’s Word.

This message will stream tomorrow, July 19, at 7:30 p.m. on our YouTube channel, as well as Facebook. Make sure you share this stream with your friends and family.

The Rare Book Room Series features academic lectures and interviews from distinguished speakers. Each message highlights featured artifacts from the Hansen Rare Book Room on the campus of Reformation Bible College. Are you interested in visiting our campus to see the Rare Book Room for yourself?
