Lippencott Scholar Award Recipient Announced

The prestigious Lippencott Scholar Award for 2016–17 has been presented to Miriam Sarver. This award, made possible by the generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff and Stephanie Lippencott, provides full tuition at Reformation Bible College for one academic year. It is given to an outstanding student in the Sacred Music program.

Mr. Lippencott is an award-winning composer and conductor with a long and distinguished career in music for film and television. He has scored such programs as The Biggest Loser, Shark Tank, and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. He also recently collaborated with Dr. R.C. Sproul on the hymn project Glory to the Holy One, which was recorded in esteemed venues around the world.

Miss Sarver, a junior, began her academic career at Reformation Bible College in 2014. During her time at RBC, she has studied cello, participated in Reformation Chorale, and performed with Instrumental Collegium. After graduation, Miss Sarver plans to study music education at the graduate level.
