Our Favorite Places on Campus

The campus of Reformation Bible College is a hub of theological learning and discipleship in sunny Central Florida. Made possible by the generosity of our supporters, these grounds embody Dr. R.C. Sproul’s vision of a place for students to gather and learn the truth of God’s Word, that they may be equipped for lives of faithful Christian service.
Several students recently shared about their favorite places on campus. A first-year student named Hannah, majoring in Christian Thought said,
“My favorite place on campus is the balcony of the RBC Administration building, especially first thing in the morning. There are very few people out and about on campus early in the morning, so I like to sit up there, study, enjoy the fresh air, and watch the campus wake up.”
Peter, a first-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, noted his favorite spots for studying and socializing.
“For studying, the library is by far my favorite. It’s a quiet, beautiful, comfortable environment filled with books. For fellowship, the student commons is the place to go. You are almost certain to find someone there, and the conversations at RBC are delightful.”
Anna, a second-year student pursuing an Associate of Arts in Theology, likes to settle in at the library to complete her reading and assignments.
“There is a particular chair in the corner which is my favorite. It is quiet, comfortable, and tucked away so I can focus on my schoolwork. I really enjoy the library atmosphere, to the point where I was recently hired as an assistant librarian!”
Hidden away on RBC’s campus is a tree-covered space affectionately known as “Narnia.” Paige, a Foundation Year student, shared,
“My favorite place on campus is Narnia. It is a very peaceful place to do some outdoor studying. There are also plenty of shady spots, so it does not get too hot.”
Another outdoor space on our campus is Shadow Lake, where you can spot local bird species while walking on your own or with friends. It’s a favorite spot for Simone, a second-year student pursuing an Associate of Arts in Theology.
“I’ve spent hours walking on the beautiful path and enjoying the view! It’s a great way to get outside and enjoy everything the RBC grounds have to offer.”
Adam, a second-year student pursuing a Major in Biblical Studies, enjoys spending time in the student commons.
“I find that it’s a great place to hang out and read, and it gives me the chance to strike up conversations with anyone who comes through. The space really helps with building relationships.”
Ethan, a first-year student in the degree completion program, also mentioned that he likes to spend time in the student commons. This space is home to the scoreboard for the RBC House System.
“It reflects the comfortable nature of being a member of the RBC family. Namely, the kitchen, seating, mailboxes, and house scoreboard embody the connections and memorable moments found among students.”
The RBC student commons is located in Founders Hall, which also houses classrooms, the café, the library, and more.
Mariah, a third-year student in the degree completion program, shared,
“Founders Hall is beautiful! It is a wonderful place to meet fellow students and chat, or a wonderful place to study between classes.”
Hannah, a first-year student pursuing a Certificate in Theology, echoes this sentiment,
“I love the beautiful, open, sunny atmosphere. There are comfortable spaces to read or fellowship with other students. You also have close access to the library, commons, classrooms, and coffee shop.”
