2026 Essay Contest: Think on These Things

We’re pleased to announce our 2026 Essay Contest. If you are a prospective or incoming student joining us on campus in the fall 2026 semester, you could win a full scholarship for your first year of on-campus tuition at Reformation Bible College.
In Philippians 4:8–9, the Apostle Paul admonishes Christians to think on things that are excellent—such as truth, justice, goodness, and beauty. In this year’s essay contest, prospective students are invited to interact with any theme related to this passage.
Examples of topics to consider:
- Christianity and the Life of the Mind
- The Cultivation of True Virtue
- The Relationship Between Truth and Beauty
Students should submit essays that:
- Are approximately 4,500 words in length, and
- Include careful biblical, historical, and theological reflection.
Submission details:
- Entries must be received by March 1, 2026.
- The winner will receive a full scholarship for his or her first year of on-campus tuition.
- A completed admissions application and all supplemental materials must also be submitted to RBC by March 1, 2026.
- Only one essay submission is allowed per student.

Important notes:
- Mail-in submissions must arrive by March 1, 2026.
- The scholarship applies only to full-time, degree-seeking students enrolling for the fall 2026 semester.
- The scholarship covers tuition only; housing costs are not included.
- Reformation Bible College reserves the right to publish the winning essay, in whole or in part, and it may not be published elsewhere without RBC’s written permission.
