Building Dedication & 2019–20 Convocation

Posted On September 17, 2019

With gratitude to God, we are delighted to announce the dedication of Reformation Bible College’s new building on Friday, October 25.

As this is such a special moment in our college’s history, the building dedication and tours will take place on the same day as our 2019–20 academic year convocation. Tours of the new building will take place from 5:30–6:30 p.m. at Reformation Bible College. Dr. Sinclair Ferguson will give the convocation address for our largest incoming class yet at 7:00 p.m. in Saint Andrew’s Chapel. Our campus will be full of current students, faculty, staff, prospective students and their families, alumni, and close ministry friends. This will be a special day for the RBC and Ligonier community to gather and give thanks to God for His generous provision.

Not only are we celebrating the opening of a new building, but we are ultimately dedicating what is in effect a new campus. With the completion of this building, our students can now walk the quad, discuss theology by the fountain, share meals in the student commons, and learn in new classrooms. There is now a college library with reading tables to facilitate study in a classic environment. The new faculty suite grants students even more access to their professors for those valuable times of discipleship outside of class.

Many of us have been waiting for this day for a long time. We hope you will be able to join us for this occasion and experience the new campus for yourself.

In many ways, this new building marks the realization of Dr. R.C. Sproul’s decade-long dream for the campus of RBC. He knew the importance of creating a place where students and scholars could learn together in the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty in the worship of our holy God. It is with grateful appreciation for the Lord’s kindness that we invite you to share this celebratory day with us.
