Announcing Our 2024 Essay Contest Winners
Posted On April 11, 2024
Fifty years ago, our founder, Dr. R.C. Sproul, wrote his first book on the Apostles’ Creed. The affirmations of the ancient Christian church found in the Apostle’s Creed remain some of the most important summaries of Christian truth today.
For the opportunity to win a full scholarship for his or her first year of tuition, students were invited to submit papers on any theme related to the Apostles’ Creed. Each essay was required to be about 4,500 words in length while containing careful biblical, historical, and theological reflection.
We are pleased to announce that the winner of our 2024 Essay Contest and recipient of a full-year tuition scholarship is Madison from Florida. Madison’s exemplary essay demonstrated clear and persuasive thinking on themes from the Apostles’ Creed, exhibiting careful theological reflection, biblical exposition, and practical application for the Christian life. As she looks forward to joining the RBC family in the fall, Madison writes:
“I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity to study God’s Word and truth with other Christians. This essay contest has been such a blessing, allowing for a year of thoughtful college education without the stress of tuition. Thank you, RBC!”
Chloe from Ontario also earned an honorable mention scholarship for her outstanding essay.
Thank you to everyone who entered the contest. Please join us in congratulating our winners.
