Paul Helm was educated at Worcester College, University of Oxford. He was Professor of the History and Philosophy of Religion, King’s College, London, from 1993–2000. Before that he taught philosophy at the University of Liverpool for thirty years, and afterwards at Regent College, Vancouver, from 2001–2005. He is the author of numerous books, including The Providence of God (IVP), Faith with Reason (Oxford), Calvin at the Centre (Oxford), Human Nature from Calvin to Edwards (RHB), and, most recently, Reforming Free Will (Mentor). He regularly writes on topics in philosophical theology on his blog “Helm’s Deep.”
