Opportunities to Grow outside the Classroom

By God’s grace, students at Reformation Bible College are privileged to study under distinguished professors. The education that they receive will equip them with theology for life, whether they move into the ministry or the marketplace. But student life at RBC offers several additional opportunities for students to learn God’s truth and be discipled.

Earlier this week, our 2021 Winter Conference focused on a theme that drove the life and ministry of our founder, Dr. R.C. Sproul: Everyone’s a Theologian. Students receive free admission to this annual event. In addition, RBC students may freely attend Ligonier Ministries’ annual National Conference. Typically, people come from across the country and around the world to attend this special event, and RBC students are welcome to participate, hearing from prominent Bible teachers and pastors. This year, Ligonier’s Teaching Fellows will be joined by Drs. John MacArthur and Voddie Baucham, plus many other gifted speakers.

Even more benefits come with the fact that RBC shares a campus with Ligonier Ministries. All of our students receive a complimentary subscription to Tabletalk magazine, the monthly devotional magazine produced by Ligonier. Also, Ligonier’s Teaching Fellows and guest teachers join us on campus throughout the year to record new video teaching series. RBC students are among the first to be invited to participate in the live audience for these recordings.

Every fall, RBC hosts a youth conference on apologetics as a way of equipping teens to know the teachings of Scripture and of the historic Christian faith and how to defend these truths in our pluralistic culture. Students at RBC receive the opportunity to serve at this important event and to attend the sessions as volunteers, gaining valuable experience that can help them in the future.

Many students have told me how grateful they are for the numerous opportunities they have to grow as Christians at Reformation Bible College. Would you please pray for our student body as they engage with the rich teaching that is offered to them through RBC’s partnership with Ligonier?
